Beginnings

The last 3 weeks of my life have been like a controlled demolition. Everything I had previously established for myself came crumbling down. It is uncomfortable and scary to have all of your familiar and all of your stability abruptly demolished. This is ground zero. A clean slate. A blank canvas. A beautiful place to begin anew.

After the world as you know it has ended, where do you begin? Welcome to the great unknown. Where the future is what you make of it. A wide wild open space full of endless possibilities. Consider yourself free to make new rules. Unencumbered like a fox. You have the freedom to create. The freedom to move forward. The freedom to become greater and demand better. You may have lost everything, sure sure. But now you have nothing to lose.

This is a new beginning. It’s time to embark on a new venture. Get excited. It’s like you’re on the top of a roller-coaster teetering on the brink of everything you’ve asked for, everything you’ve worked for, the past behind you, and all the possibilities of the world ahead…It’s intense.. and you can’t quite see where you’re going…but this is the part where is starts to get good… This is the part.. There’s excitement and wonder in the air. There’s suspense and mystery, adrenaline and fear. This is the beginning of life’s coming attractions. Anything can happen next. Just brace yourself and enjoy the ride.

You must have absolute faith that everything is working out for your greater good. There is no sense thinking otherwise. Everything is working for your favor. Have faith that life is removing that which no longer serves you, or that which has completed it’s purpose, and redirecting your course to something ultimately greater. You must make room for the new. You cannot receive the promises of tomorrow clinging to yesterday. “Let the dead leaves drop.” ~Rumi. Go all in. Trust the process. Embrace the new. This is the beginning of all that could be.
